A study on the radiation protection from x-ray examination in hospital and Clinics

Abstract
|
|
|
This study was investigated on the radiation protection works in 33 medical institutions around Pusan and Kyung-nam area, from June 1995 to December 1995. It was summarized as follows ;
1. The control for radiation installations was in most parts kept proper
2. The fraction of radiation protection for individuals was little as 75.3%
3. The fraction of the equipment of the personal exposure dosimeter was 40.5% for General hospitals and Clinics
4. The fraction of the obligatory participation of the hospital employees for medical examination was 93.3% which is an appropriate value
5. For 54.8% of all cases covered, the state of the examination of equipments and dose measurement was negative
